SEOUL, May 24 (Yonhap) -- K-pop boy group BLANK2Y is taking its first steps in the global K-pop market on the 24th.

BLANK2Y, which consists of 9 members, DK, Louis, Donghyuk, U, Siwoo, Mikey, Youngbin, Sungjun and So Dam will be releasing their first mini album "'K2Y I : CONFIDENCE Thumbs Up" on the 24th at 6 p.m.

The album will contain 5 tracks including the title song "Thumbs Up."

Even before their debut, BLANK2Y has been active by becoming the honorary ambassador for tourism in Jeju and also becoming the ambassadors of the event, "Blossom the Hope" of COEX, Seoul.

BLANK2Y will hold a fan showcase to commemorate their debut at the Yes24 Live Hall in Seoul at 8 p.m. immediately after the release of the album. This showcase will be broadcast live on Olleh TV, Seezn, Stage G (Genie Music), KaveCon, and its own YouTube channel.
