“Why Her” is the story of Oh Soo-jae (Seo Hyun-jin), a coldhearted lawyer who aims for the highest, and Gong-chan(Hwang In-youp ), a law school student who is not afraid of anything to protect Oh Soo-jae.

From the fist episode, Oh Soo-jae rose to the position of a representative lawyer at TK Law firm, but Park So-young, the client’s plaintiff, committed suicide, and Oh was demoted to a professor at Seojung University law school. Through the fast development of the story, it drew attraction to the viewers.

After the first episode, tension kept brewing in a fast pace till the fourth episode through the revelation of a sexual assault case from a law school professor to a student, and with the truth behind the death of Park So-young.

Above all, Seo Hyun-jin, who has mainly appeared in romance dramas, appears as a cold-blooded lawyer, exuding charisma is leading the narrative continuously.

The character Oh Soo jae (Seo Hyun-jin) is also also attractive.Oh Soo-jae, who always tried relentlessly to win her cases, transforms into a person who fights for justice after the death of Park So-young’s death. Oh stands on the side of those who are powerless and bursting out of anger from hopelessness by coming up with a “winning strategy.”

A drama critic Gong Hee-jeong said, “Oh Soo-jae is a person with no special academic background or family, yet overcomes reality with only her own abilities, determination, and effort. There were also several scenes where she was neglected and ignored at first, but it is satisfying to see such a character succeeding.”
