So-yeon from T-ara, marries S. Korean football player Cho Yu-min in November

SEOUL, Jan. 18 (Yonhap) – So-yeon from K-pop girl group T-ara will marry a football midfielder Cho Yu-min(Suwon FC), who is 9 years younger.

The agency THINK Entertainment said on Jan. 18, “So-yeon and Cho Yu-min will marry in November after 3 years of dating.”

The agency mentioned, “The wedding will be held in November when Cho Yu-min’s season ends, and So-yeon has decided to start this season together to support Cho Yu-min.”

The staff from the agency added, "Please show a lot of support and love for the future of the two, and please look forward to So-yeon's diverse and active performances from now on."

So-yeon, who debuted as a main vocal of K-pop girl group T-ara in 2009, drew attention with many hit songs, such as “Roly-Poly” and “What’s wrong?”

After leaving the team in 2017, the singer appeared in MBN “Miss Back” and MBC TV “King of Mask Singer,” and performed as a solo artist by releasing the single “Just The Same As Before” last year.

Cho Yu-min is currently playing for Suwon FC, and was selected for the South Korean national under-23 football team in 2018 to help win the gold medal at the Jakarta Palembang 2018 Asian Games.
