SEOUL, June 11 (Yonhap) -- Veteran singer Lee Seung-chul is set to release a new digital single titled "Rain Is Falling" at 6 PM on June 11, as announced by his agency LSC.

This medium-tempo modern rock song captures the sorrow of parting with a loved one. It starts with a piano melody and transitions to a powerful chorus, expressing a heartfelt desire for the return of a loved one.

Lee Seung-chul personally contributed to the songwriting and arrangement, enhancing the track's overall quality. The music video features Kyler from the group Horizon, actress Gal So-won from the film "Miracle in Cell No. 7," and newcomer Kim Eun-ho from BH Entertainment.

Reflecting on the new release, Lee Seung-chul shared, "I feel an excitement and tension I've never experienced before. For the first time in my 38-year career, I sang a Britpop-style song. I was so thrilled I stayed up all night working on it. I hope this song brings musical joy to many people."

Lee Seung-chul will premiere the live performance of "Rain Is Falling" during his nationwide tour concert 'Rock'n All' in Gunsan on June 15. This release marks the beginning of a larger project that includes his 13th studio album and a special album celebrating his 40th anniversary in the music industry. The nationwide tour will cover various cities including Gunsan, Cheonan, Seoul, Changwon, Daegu, and Daejeon, continuing through the end of the year.
