SEOUL, October 18 (Yonhap) -- Shimcheong Children's Grand Festival will be held with the theme "Gifting a special day to children' will be held at Seomjingang Train Village in Gokseong-gun, Jeollanam-do on October 27–30.
 
The venue of the festival will be divided into 5 sections, which are the central square, rose garden, ecology learning center, grass square, and dream land. 

A mask-changing, magic show will be performed at the central square on October 27, the first day of the festival, to excite the visitors. Pengsoo will be attending as a special guest for the opening ceremony of the festival, along with a singing contest. 
 
The festival will begin with the Youth Orchestra and two performances of the popular children's musical "Katuri", followed by a Hanbok (Korean traditional clothing) fashion show, a Taekwondo demonstration by a national athlete, and a world children's yodle performance on October 29. 

Starting at 6 p.m. on the same day, the rainbow concert will heat up the autumn night with performances of Pastel Girls, Episode, Yang Da-il, Romantic Punch, Ailee and more.
 
A character singalong show and performance by The Octonauts will be held on October 30. 

Moreover, the last day of the festival will be concluded with an audience-involved magic show, a Disney gala show, and singers Ulala Session and Gummy's performance. 
 
Other than these, the ecology learning center is decorated for Halloween with different events held, and the grass square will provide game programs for kids. 

The dream land will be filled with hands-on events, and a tense cube contest will be held in the magic square. 
 
Characters such as Superwings, KATURI, Breadbarbershop, and Dinosaur Mecard will be walking around the festival venue to enliven the atmosphere. 
 
In celebration of Hanbok Culture Week, a free hanbok rental spot will be opened at the entrance of the main gate of the train village, and a hanbok exhibition will also be held at Kakao Greenhouse in the festival venue.
