SEOUL, July 26 (Yonhap) -- BTS's hit song "Butter" has been awarded the 'Diamond' certification for streaming by the Recording Industry Association of Japan (RIAJ) as of June, according to Big Hit Music on the 25th.

 

The RIAJ grants certifications based on cumulative play counts each month, with 'Diamond' being awarded for over 500 million streams, 'Platinum' for over 100 million streams, and 'Gold' for over 50 million streams.

 

"Butter" is the second BTS song to receive 'Diamond' certification in Japan, following "Dynamite."

 

Additionally, BTS's songs "Blue & Grey," "Run BTS," and Jungkook's second solo single "3D" have each received 'Gold' certification.
