SEOUL, June 16 (Yonhap) – K-pop groups from HYBE’s labels, such as BTS, TXT, Seventeen, and LE SSERAFIM, have shown good performances on the U.S. Billboard charts.
BTS has continued its “long run” with “Butter” and “Dynamite,” according to the latest chart released by Billboard on June 14(U.S. Time).
On “Billboard Global 200,” which ranks songs based on streaming and sales in over 200 countries, the group ranked “Butter” at 80th, “Dynamite” at 85th, and “My Universe” at 98th.
On “Billboard Global(Excl. U.S.)” chart, the group ranked “Butter” at 48th, “Dynamite” at 52nd, “My Universe” at 59th, and “Permission to Dance” at 138th.
“My Universe” was also placed on “Alternative Digital Song Sales” chart at 21nd and “Mexico Ingles” chart at 26th.
Moreover, the group’s albums show iconic performances on the “World Album” chart.
“MAP OF THE SOUL : 7,” which was dropped in February, 2020, recorded No. 5 on “World Album” while “LOVE YOURSELF 承 Her,” which was released in September, 2017, recorded No. 6 on the same chart.
PSY’s “THAT THAT,” produced and featured by BTS member Suga, ranked No. 111 on “Billboard Global 200,” No. 56 on “Billboard Global(Excl. U.S.),” and No. 6 on “World Digital Song Sales.”
