SEOUL, May 22 (Yonhap) -- 

South Korean music platform Melon will launch a new offline event series titled "THE SOUND," the company said Friday.

 

According to Melon, the event is designed to provide in-depth insight into artists and their music through conversations and listening sessions.

 

The first edition of the event will be held May 31 at Hyundai Card Understage in Seoul's Yongsan district.

 

The inaugural guest will be Hiroto Wakai, guitarist of popular Japanese band Mrs. GREEN APPLE.
