SEOUL, July 20 (Yonhap) -- HYBE will debut a new seven-member girl group, TUIDE, in the second half of this year through its newly established subsidiary label ABD, the agency said Monday.

 

ABD said it opened TUIDE's official social media channels Sunday and unveiled the group's official logo.

 

The group consists of seven members -- Seo Hee, Seo Yeon, Elena, Jia, Saki, Sea and Lee Ha-nui.

 

The name TUIDE is derived from the phrase "Tune the tide," reflecting the idea of harmonizing the flow.

 

"TUIDE's members will freely express their individual personalities while blending together seamlessly to create a harmonious voice," ABD said.

 

The group's executive producer will be Han Sung-soo, Master Professional at HYBE, who has played a key role in discovering and developing K-pop acts including SEVENTEEN, After School, IZ*ONE and TWS.
