SEOUL, Jan. 18 (Yonhap) – South Korean movie “Soulmate,” starring Kim Da-mi, Jeon So-nee, and Byeon Woo-seok, will be hitting the big screen in March, according to the distributor NEW.
In this South Korean remake version of the 2016 Chinese movie “SoulMate,” the three actors will tell a coming-of-age story of two friends, Mi-so and Ha-eun, with Jin-woo, who knew they will be each other’s soul mate at first sight.
Kim Da-mi, who will be playing the role of Mi-so, made herself known by appearing in an array of South Korean hit drama series, including “Itaewon Class” and “Our Beloved Summer.” The role of Ha-eun will be acted out by Jeon So-nee, who starred in the 2020 South Korean drama series “When My Love Blooms.” Byeon Woo-seok will be playing the role of Jin-woo; the actor had recently garnered worldwide attention for his leading role in the Netflix original film “20th Century Girl.”
