SEOUL, March 14 (Yonhap) -- Big Hit Music, the agency of BTS, announced on the 14th that J-Hope has released the main trailer for the documentary "Hope On The Street."
In the trailer posted on official SNS that day, J-Hope expressed his unwavering passion, saying, "I believe the most important thing is 'learning.'"
He stated, "I started with dance, and many things have stemmed from that," expressing his curiosity, "What dances have I performed, and what are my roots? What is the future I dream of?" thus conveying the intention behind the documentary.
"Hope On The Street" is a documentary that follows J-Hope, who celebrates his 12th year since debut this year, on a journey to find his dreams through 'dance' that permeates his past, present, and future.
He embarked on a dance exploration to cities such as Osaka in Japan, Paris in France, New York in the United States, Seoul, and Gwangju in Korea.
J-Hope personally met dancers active in various street dance fields such as popping, house, hip-hop, and locking in each city.
Regarding the process of communicating through dance and seeking learning, he said, "My heart is racing. The experiences are so fresh," adding, "It could become not only dance but also life, one of the processes of learning in various ways."
He emphasized his affection for dance, saying, "Ultimately, answers came through songs and dances," and expressing, "If we love and enjoy what we are doing now and dance happily..." showcasing his passion for dance.
The first episode of "Hope On The Street" will be released on the 28th at 0:00 through online video services (OTT) Tving and Prime Audio. The following day, on the 29th at 1:00 p.m., the special album "Hope On The Street VOL.1" will be released.
J-Hope is set to be discharged from active duty in the army in October, having enlisted in April last year.
