SEOUL, Sept. 30 (Yonhap) -- "Golden," the original soundtrack (OST) from the Netflix animated film "K-pop Demon Hunters," has retained its top spot on the Billboard Hot 100 main singles chart.

 

Billboard said in a preview article Monday (U.S. time) that "Golden" ranked No. 1 for the seventh nonconsecutive week, following its top finish last week. The track, which entered the chart in July, has stayed on the chart for 14 consecutive weeks.

 

The Hot 100 ranks songs based on U.S. streaming activity, radio airplay and sales data.

 

During the latest tracking week, "Golden" garnered 33.8 million streams, up 5 percent from the previous week. Its radio airplay audience impressions rose 11 percent to 33.9 million, while sales climbed 2 percent to 8,000.

 

Billboard noted that "Golden" topped the Streaming Songs chart for the 10th week, placed ninth on Radio Songs, and second on Digital Song Sales.

 

Along with "Golden," the "K-pop Demon Hunters" soundtrack saw "Soda Pop" land at No. 3 and "Your Idol" at No. 5, giving the OST three tracks in the chart’s top five.
