SEOUL, Nov. 15 (Yonhap) -- With World Cup Qatar 2022 approaching next week, broadcasting industries have also begun to create World Cup atmosphere.

Broadcasting channels are raising the atmosphere by bringing soccer stars such as Ki Sung-yueng and Lee Cheong-yong, as well as heroes who made to semifinal at the match with Japan in 2002, including coach Guus Hiddink, and former national soccer players Park Ji-sung and Lee Young-pyo.

As a special feature of "Docu-plex," (translated) MBC TV is airing an archive documentary "I Was also there," (translated) where footage of the 2002 World Cup can be seen.

The documentary introduces the Korean society united by the "Red Devils" using the 2022 World Cup match live to news and entertainment videos. In addition to the main characters such as coach Hiddink, Ahn Jung-hwan, Park Ji-seong, Lee Young-pyo, and Hwang Seon-hong, the behind-the-scenes stories of singers such as Lee Seung-yoon and Tae Jin-ah who watched the game at the plaza and theater. Koo Ja-cheol invites Ki Sung-yong and Lee Chung-yong, who participated in the World Cup together, to go on fall camping and share memories of the 2010 World Cup in South Africa, the 2014 World Cup in Brazil, and the 2018 World Cup in Russia.

A program that vividly delivers the local atmosphere of the World Cup is also prepared.

MBC TV will bring fun and excitement of the World Cup Qatar through "Ahn Jung-hwan's Hidden Qatar" during the World Cup. The hidden stories behind commentator Ahn Jung-hwan and caster Kim Seong-joo in charge of broadcasting the MBC World Cup can be seen.

Special programs in which entertainers roam the ground and show their passion is being ready to be aired.

For JTBC's soccer entertainment show "We Kick Together 2," in which sports legends such as Ahn Jung-hwan, Kim Dong-hyun, Mo Tae-beom unite to conquer soccer club, casts leave for Qatar for field training. For an episode which to be aired on Nov. 20, members will feel the heat of the World Cup in advance at Albaite Stadium, where the opening match will be held, and compete against the local soccer team in Qatar.

SBS TV's "Girls who hit the goal," where stars who are serious about soccer go on soccer match, leaves for Portugal, the last opponent National team will compete against in the Group H group.

Red team players, including singer Seo Ki, Ayumi, and comedian Seung-hye Kim who won the All-Star Game, will receive training in Portugal according to the European soccer education course and tour the stadium, while SBS commentator Park Ji-seong and Portuguese soccer legend Luis Figo will make special appearances.

New soccer pilot program will also be aired.

tvN will air three-episodes variety show "Kick the Number" on Nov. 18.

Casts who love soccer includes hosts Kim Jong-kook and Dindin will challenge against various soccer games including shooting match and penalty shoot-out.

Soccer coach Lee Eul-yong, soccer player Park Jun-ho, Lee Guen-ho, rapper Cheetah, body-builder Jang Seong-yeob, youtuber Shim Euddeum will also appear.
