SEOUL, Oct. 5 (Yonhap) -- Busan city will conduct promotional activities to domestic and international audiences who visit 27th Busan International Film Festival, which will be held for 10 days since Wednesday, for the successful bid to host the 2030 World Expo in Busan.

Promotional booth will be set up at Busan Cinema Center, where the opening of film festival will be held, and photo zone for audiences to take photos with "K-pop Boogi," who promote 2030 Busan Expo, will be installed.

K-pop Boogi is Busan city's communication character "Boogi" doll wearing clothe that represent K-pop group "X4," who promote 2030 Busan Expo.

The city will hold an event in which if visitors take photos with K-pop Boogie and upload them on social media with hashtags (#2030부산세계박람회, #부산국제영화제x부기, #부산에 유치해), they will be given mobile gift card through a lottery.

Promotional booth will also host various activities such as Expo quiz, copying Expo signature pose, and making placards.

Busan City plans to conduct various promotional activites, such as displaying "Just Jerk Boogi" and "Soul-less Boogi" wearing clothes of popular people or group on TV, for the succesful bid to host 2030 World Expo in Busan.
