SEOUL, Apr. 5 (Yonhap) -- The American-based video over-the-top streaming service Disney Plus will drop its brand-new office series “Race,” starring actors Lee Yeon-hee and Hong Jong-hyun, on April 10.
This upcoming series will follow the story of Park Yoon-jo, a PR professional who makes up for her lack of experience and qualifications only with her passion and hard work. She unexpectedly gets embroiled in a recruitment scandal as she learns that she was only employed as a “diversity hire” and tries to defy the naysayers, her superiors, and her peers.
Actress Lee Yeon-hee will suit up as Park, who tries to prove those who underrate her ability wrong, while Hong Jong-hyun has been slated to play the role of Ryu Jae-min, the company’s top employee who enjoys maintaining the balance between his work and life.
Veteran actress Moon So-ri will star as Koo Yi-jung, a leading professional in the PR industry, along with TVXQ’s Yunho, who is set to play the PR agency’s CEO who dreams of making his agency the most ideal workplace both for the firm and its employees.
