SEOUL, May 18 (Yonhap) -- Global makeup brand Etude announced Monday the launch of its new “Curl Fix Mascara 05 Separate Long Lash,” designed to create clean and naturally extended eyelashes strand by strand.

 

The new product is the latest addition to Etude’s signature “Curl Fix Mascara” line, which has long been one of the brand’s best-selling items.

 

Expanding beyond the existing curling-focused lineup, the series has been strengthened with the addition of the volume-focused No. 04 Separate Volume, color mascaras and now the new long-lash version.

The Curl Fix Mascara series has established itself as a top-selling curling mascara since its launch and has maintained steady popularity. The latest release is drawing attention as the first new addition to the lineup in about two years.

 

The product was co-developed with beauty YouTuber Sunwoo, who has 930,000 subscribers, reflecting the needs of actual users. Its development was further refined through consultations with three freelance makeup artists and product feedback from 30 consumers.

 

The mascara was designed in line with recent beauty trends favoring natural and delicate eyelash makeup. By blending two types of fibers of different lengths, the product creates naturally elongated lash strands with each application.

 

Its jelly-like elastic texture allows for lightweight yet defined eyelash expression without clumping.

 

The mascara also retains the strong fixing power and long-lasting curl hold that characterize the Curl Fix line, helping maintain sharp curls without drooping for extended periods.

 

According to the company, a 24-hour wear test verified the mascara’s curl retention performance, while the formula helps keep eye makeup clean without smudging over time.

 

The product also features a hooking brush designed to grip lashes densely, creating doll-like separated lashes as if styled with tweezers.

 

The new Curl Fix Mascara 05 Separate Long Lash will be available at Olive Young stores starting May 18 with promotional benefits.

 

An Etude official said, “The Curl Fix Mascara 05 Separate Long Lash combines the strong curling performance of the Curl Fix line with enhanced long-lash functionality for more detailed eyelash styling.”

 

“Having improved the product through extensive consumer feedback and professional consultations, we expect it to become a satisfying choice for consumers seeking delicate eyelash makeup,” the official added.
