SEOUL, July 16 (Yonhap) -- Kara is set to release a new song featuring the voice of the late Goo Hara, making it a complete six-member lineup.
According to RBW and DSP Media on the 16th, Kara will pre-release the track "Hello" from their new digital single "I Do I Do" at 6 PM.
"Hello" is a ballad themed around the word "안녕," which means both "hello" and "goodbye" in Korean, symbolizing meetings and farewells. The members have infused the song with the various emotions tied to the word, including the joy of reunion and the sorrow of parting.
"Hello" was initially planned to be included in Kara's fourth studio album "Full Bloom," released in September 2013, but was never released at the time. However, a Japanese version of the song was included in Goo Hara's Japanese single "Midnight Queen," released in November 2019.
The agency explained, "'Hello' is completed as a six-member version with the addition of Goo Hara's voice, which she recorded in Korean before her passing."
Kara is scheduled to release their digital single "I Do I Do" on the 24th.
