SEOUL, Apr. 6 (Yonhap) -- Japanese animated blockbuster “Suzume” is gearing up to open pop-up stores in three different hot spots, including Hyundai Department Stores in Sinchon, Pangyo, and Daegu.

The pop-up store will be set up at the Sinchon branch from June 26 to June 8 and will move on to the Pangyo branch from June 23 to July 6. Then, the pop-up store will be opened at the Daegu branch from July 28 to August 10.

Meanwhile in Mapo-gu in Seoul, the “Suzume”-themed collaborative cafe will be extending its operation period by two weeks until April 23. The cafe has been gathering fans by selling special merchandise, as well as iconic drink and dessert menus that symbolize characters from the film.
