LONDON, Feb. 21(Yonhap) -- British fashion label JW Anderson announced that it will release bags featuring the character of Korean cartoon “Run Hany.”

JW Anderson recently unveiled a bag with the character “Run Hany” through its social media page.

In one photo, there are 3 small handbags that feature Hany’s face or the character tying her shoelaces. Another photo shows colorful sandals and a small bag with Hany’s face.

JW Anderson suggested that they will be released as fall and winter collections this year by mentioning there is not much time left until the fall and winter shows in 2022.

The company added the hashtag “runhany” below the photo.

Run Hany is a popular cartoon, written by Lee Jin-ju, that was published through the children’s cartoon magazine “Treasure Island(translated)” from 1985 to 1987. Since then, it has also recorded high viewership as it was produced as a cartoon film on TV.

Run Hany depicts the story about the middle school student Hany, who grew up in a lonely and harsh environment, growing up to be an athlete by overcoming her rival, who is keeping in check, with the help of teachers and surrounding people.

JW Anderson is a fashion label founded by the British Northern Irish designer Jonathan Anderson in 2008, and features neutral designs.
