SEOUL, Aug. 13 (Yonhap) -- Park Bo-gum, Kim Yoo-jung, Jinyoung, Chae Soo-bin and Kwak Dong-yeon, who starred in KBS 2TV's hit drama "Love in the Moonlight," will reunite for a travel variety show marking the drama's 10th anniversary, KBS said Thursday.

 

KBS said the two-part special, titled "Love in the Moonlight: Redrawn," will premiere on Sept. 16.

 

The 2016 drama, based on a web novel, depicted a palace romance between a crown prince and a woman disguised as a eunuch. It recorded a peak nationwide viewership rating of 23.3 percent, according to Nielsen Korea.

 

The program came about after Park suggested celebrating the drama's 10th anniversary.

 

The five actors will spend two days and one night together in Hongcheon, Gangwon Province, reminiscing about the significance of the drama they worked on together a decade ago.

 

"It is meaningful that the five actors, who rose to stardom through 'Love in the Moonlight,' have reunited 10 years later as leading figures in K-content that is now attracting global attention," KBS said.
