SEOUL, July 19 (Yonhap) -- Popular mukbang YouTuber Tzuyang (real name Park Jung-won) has released evidence to back up her claims of being blackmailed by specific YouTubers, using her past against her.

On the 18th, Tzuyang shared a video and emails on her YouTube channel titled "Revealing the Threatening Video." This comes after fellow YouTuber Gujeyeok, who is under investigation for allegedly extorting money from Tzuyang, denied the accusations.

According to Tzuyang, Gujeyeok sent an email with a video link to her agency in February last year. In the email, Gu stated, "I would like to hear Tzuyang's opinion after watching the video. If there is no reply, I will have to assume that there is no intention to refute." In the video, Gujeyeok exposed Tzuyang's alleged tax evasion methods and claimed to have more severe allegations that were "100 times worse than tax evasion."

Tzuyang said, "This email was sent by Gujeyeok to blackmail me," adding, "The '100 times worse' content seemed to refer to something I didn't want to reveal." Consequently, an executive from her agency met Gujeyeok, signed an unwanted contract, and paid him 55 million won (approximately $46,000).

Furthermore, Tzuyang revealed that the person who provided Gujeyeok with her past and false information was a lawyer who had represented her former agency head. She claimed, "I don't know who this lawyer is, but I understand that he was close with my ex-boyfriend."

Previously, Tzuyang had exposed that she suffered four years of continuous violence and threats from her ex-boyfriend and former agency head, Mr. A. She had filed charges against him for sexual assault, habitual violence, habitual threats, habitual injury, and extortion. However, the case was closed due to Mr. A's death during the investigation.

Tzuyang's legal representative, Attorney Kim Tae-yeon from Taeyeon Law Office, stated, "The lawyer abandoned basic ethics and used the information from a former client to blackmail Tzuyang. As the lawyer for the former agency head, he would have heard various false allegations about Tzuyang from Mr. A and passed this information to Gujeyeok."

Regarding the tax evasion allegations raised by Gujeyeok, Attorney Kim explained, "When Tzuyang was with her former agency, she was unaware of her earnings and expense management. The former agency head had appointed a tax agent of his choice to handle these matters."

Tzuyang expressed her willingness to cooperate with any investigations into the tax evasion allegations but firmly denied claims of engaging in paid dating. She clarified, "When I was forced to work briefly at an establishment by my former agency head, it was at an entertainment bar with no sexual contact involved."
