SEOUL, April 22 (Yonhap) -- ATEEZ, rocked this year’s Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival for a second straight week On April 19th (local time), becoming the first K-pop boy group ever invited to the prestigious U.S. music festival.
ATEEZ started their performance by shouting, "We are back Coachella!" The members delighted the audience by performing their hit songs such as 'Say My Name,' 'HALA HALA,' 'Guerrilla,' 'Wave,' and 'Mingi,’ according to their agency, KQ Entertainment,
During their performance on the 'Rookie' stage, ATEEZ transformed into boxers wearing red robes and champion belts, showcasing choreography with punches. In 'Wave,' they captivated the audience with traditional instrument sounds like kkwaenggwari (small gong), buk (drum), janggu (hourglass-shaped drum), and taepyeongso (traditional wind instrument).
ATEEZ thanked the audience, stating, "We had an amazing experience over the past two weeks," and "Through this Coachella, we felt that there are no boundaries in music. We are grateful for creating unforgettable memories during these two weeks."
They also expressed sincere thanks to their fans, ATINY, saying, "ATEEZ was able to be at Coachella thanks to the fans," and "We sincerely thank ATINY."
ATEEZ captivated the local audience with their graceful stage manners and dynamic performances for about an hour, receiving enthusiastic applause as they performed 10 songs live.
The stage was enhanced with various laser effects of different colors and dazzling LED visuals, adding excitement to the performance.
ATEEZ previously made their debut performance at the Coachella festival on the 12th and is also hosting a pop-up exhibition at the Grammy Museum in the United States.
