SEOUL, Feb. 4 (Yonhap) -- Group BTS achieved 2 million accumulated points on weekly combined singles ranking with hit song “Butter,” according to Big Hit Music, Friday.

The Oricon chart adds points weekly by combining the number of digital downloads and streaming numbers. The superband achieved 2 million accumulative points with “Dynamite” last month and reached the same amount once again with “Butter.”

BTS’ “Butter,” released in May 2021, scored 24,862 points per week on the latest Oricon chart, ranking fifth in the weekly combined singles ranking. The cumulative point of this song is 2,013,724 points.

“Butter” is now the fifth song to pass 2 million accumulated points.

BTS is the only singer in Japan's Oricon chart history who has two or more 2 million accumulated points songs.
