SEOUL, July 24 (Yonhap) -- BLACKPINK's Jennie will release her new single "Less than a Lover" at 1 p.m. Friday, her agency OA Entertainment said.

 

"Less than a Lover" is a summer-themed song that Jennie co-wrote and co-composed. It captures the excitement and lingering emotions of a relationship that exists somewhere between friendship and romance.

 

Jennie also took part in the overall production of the song, including directing its music video.

 

She will continue her appearances at major international music festivals next month, including Lollapalooza Chicago in the United States and Summer Sonic 2026 in Japan.
