SEOUL, Sept. 25 (Yonhap) -- Singer-songwriter Lee Seung-yol will release his new song "Flower Falls" at 6 p.m. on Thursday, his agency Flex&Co said.
"Flower Falls" is his first release in about four months since "Life Was Easy" in May. The track features only minimal electronic sounds and Lee’s voice, highlighting the resonance of the vocals and the sense of space in the sound.
The lyrics consist of just six lines and 17 words in total. Lee wrote and composed the song, and also handled the synthesizer, keyboard, MIDI programming and production. Recording and mixing were done by Park Moo-il, Dolby Atmos mixing by Shim Jin-bo and mastering by Park Jung-eon.
The cover artwork is from photographer Kim Woo-young’s signature "Wrapping Series," which Lee specially requested to use for the new release after seeing it at Kim’s exhibition.
