SEOUL, Nov. 21 (Yonhap) -- Marvel hero movie "Black Panther: Wakanda Forever" has topped South Korean weekend box office for two consecutive weeks.
According to the data by the Korea Film Council on Monday, "Black Panther 2" has been in the leading the last weekend (Nov. 18 to Nov. 20) box office, gathering 374,000 audiences.
The total audiences stand at 1,731,000 viewers as of the previous days, 12 days of its release. Considering that the prequel which recorded a cumulative audiences of 5,400,000, gathered 1,750,000 in just three days after its release, season 2 is showing weak performance.
Action movie "Decibel" starring Kim Rae-won placed second by gathering 336,000 audiences. The movie topped the box office on the day of its release on Nov. 16 but soon was expelled to second by "Black Panther 2"
Released on the same day as "Decibel," romance movie "Ditto" starring Yeo Jin-goo and Cho Yi-hyun came in 3rd place with 177,000 viewers.
Other movies like "Fall" (4th), "Hansan Redux" (8th), "Cafe Midnight" (10th) placed in top 1o.
