SEOUL, Aug. 29 (Yonhap) -- Singer Min Kyung-hoon will temporarily leave JTBC's variety show "Men on a Mission," where he has been a regular cast member since its launch.

JTBC said Friday that Min will take a break after the Aug. 29 episode, adding that the hiatus is "for recharging" and does not mean he is leaving the program permanently.

Min has been an original cast member of "Men on a Mission" since its first episode in December 2015. He also has a special connection to the show, having married producer Shin Ki-eun, whom he met through the program, in 2024.

The current cast of "Men on a Mission" includes Kang Ho-dong, Lee Soo-geun, Seo Jang-hoon, Kim Young-chul, Lee Sang-min and Kim Shin-young. The lineup changed in May when Kim Hee-chul left the program for health reasons and Kim Shin-young joined as a new member.

JTBC said there are no concrete plans to recruit a new regular member yet and that the show will instead make use of one-time guests, including "guest brothers" who appear for individual episodes.
