SEOUL, Mar. 30 (Yonhap) – K-pop superband BTS’ hit songs “My Universe” and “Butter,” which were released last year, have been performing long-running hits on Billboard charts.
According to Billboard’s latest chart released on Feb. 29(KST), BTS and the band Coldplay’s joint song “My Universe” each ranked No. 24 and No. 34 on “Billboard Global”(Excl. U.S.) and “Billboard Global 200,” maintaining its place on the charts for 26 weeks.
These two charts rank songs based on streaming and sales in over 200 countries.
Moreover, “My Universe” ranked No. 5 on “Hot Alternative Songs,” No. 15 on “Alternative Digital Song Sales,” and No. 21 on “Billboard Canada AC.”
“Butter” topped the “Billboard Hot Trending Songs” chart, maintaining the first place for 15 weeks.
BTS was also named on “Billboard Global 200” by ranking “Butter” at 36th, “Dynamite” at 52nd, and “Permission To Dance” at 155th.
On the “Billboard Global” (Excl. U.S.) chart, the group set records with “Butter” at 28th, “Dynamite” at 38th, and “Permission To Dance” at 78th.
Meanwhile, the album “MAP OF THE SOUL : PERSONA,” which was released in April, 2019, ranked No. 43 on “Top Album Sales” and No. 5 on “World Album.”
The album “BE,” which was released in November, 2020, ranked No. 45 on “Top Current Album Sales,” No. 94 on “Top Album Sales,” and No. 4 on “World Album.”
“LOVE YOURSELF 承 Her,” dropped in September, 2017, also entered the charts of “Top Album Sales” at 22nd and “World Album” at 2nd.
