SEOUL, June 17 (Yonhap) -- K-pop girl group USPEER will make its return after a year with its first mini album, "BITE DISTRICT," set for release at 6 p.m. Wednesday, its agency MW Entertainment said.

"BITE DISTRICT" captures the group's new journey as the members build relationships, grow together and create a world of their own.

The album contains four tracks, led by the title song "WICKED GAME." Other songs include "So Fine," an upbeat pop dance track about eagerly awaiting Monday to meet someone special; "Bestie," a bright and energetic pop song; and "LOUD," which is based on disco sounds.

"WICKED GAME" combines an addictive hook with emotional sounds and portrays the innocent feelings of girls who struggle to be honest in love.

In the music video, the members transform into cute witches determined to win love, showcasing their quirky and lively charms. Actor Bae Hyun-sung appears alongside the group, creating a fantasy film-like atmosphere.

USPEER consists of six members -- Soy, Sian, Seoyu, Daon, Chaena and Roa. The group debuted in June last year with its first single, "SPEED ZONE."

The new album was produced with support from the Korea Creative Content Agency's program aimed at helping small and medium-sized entertainment agencies expand overseas.

USPEER will also hold a fan showcase at 7:30 p.m. Wednesday to kick off promotional activities.
