This upcoming release marks the final installment of Jacob Collier's music project "Djesse." The album features total of 16 tracks, including “Over You”' a collaboration with Coldplay’s Chris Martin, and South Korean girl group aespa.
World-renowned artists such as Shawn Mendes, John Legend, and John Mayer have contributed to the album's featuring, and the sounds of over 150,000 fans from various concert venues worldwide were recorded and incorporated into several tracks.
Jacob Collier, who began the "Djesse" project in 2018, has previously released four full-length albums in the series. His work has been praised for traversing a wide range of genres, including R&B, rock, Latin, and gospel, showcasing his broad musical knowledge and unique artistic style.
Jacob Collier expressed, "Each album in the project contains a unique musical universe, depicting the steps of a day from sunrise to sunset. The fourth story explores the exploration of human life and hymns."
Jacob Collier, a six-time Grammy winner, became the first British artist to receive a Grammy for all four albums released since his debut.
Known as the “Mozart of the Z generation,” he effortlessly handles various instruments and takes on the roles of composing, arranging, performing, and producing across his works.
