SEOUL, Aug. 7 (Yonhap) -- K-pop girl group Fifty Fifty is set to make a comeback next month as a five-member team, including original member Keena and four new additions, according to their agency Attrakt.
Attrakt announced on its official social media channels that Fifty Fifty will release their second mini-album and hold a showcase on August 20. The group, which debuted as a quartet in November 2022, achieved significant success with their hit song "Cupid" last year, earning the nickname "miracle of a small agency" for their unexpected rise on global charts.
However, the group faced turmoil when all four original members filed a lawsuit against the agency over their exclusive contracts, leading to a high-profile dispute. Amid this, Keena was the only member to return, leaving the group temporarily as a solo act.
Fifty Fifty has since restructured as a five-member group with Keena and four yet-to-be-revealed new members. The agency recently unveiled a new team logo and the new fandom name "TWENY," signaling their full-fledged preparations for the comeback.
Attrakt expressed their gratitude to fans for their continued support and patience, promising a high-quality album that will meet their expectations.
