SEOUL, Jan. 20 (Yonhap) – K-pop superband BTS and the band Coldplay’s joint song “My Universe” succeeded in staying on “HOT 100” of the Billboard main singles chart for 16 weeks in a row.
“My Universe” ranked No. 94 on “HOT 100,” according to Billboard’s latest chart released on Jan. 19(KST).
The song also ranked No. 13 on “Adult Pop Airplay,” No. 10 on “Canada Hot AC,” No. 36 on “Canada CHR/Top,” and No. 38 on both “Canadian Digital Song Sales,” and “Canadian Hot 100.”
In the “Billboard Global 200,” which ranks songs based on streaming and sales in over 200 countries, BTS entered the chart by ranking “My Universe” at 30th, “Butter” at 45th, “Dynamite” at 68th, and “Permission To Dance” at 128th.
On the “Billboard Global” (Excl. U.S.) chart, the four songs entered the chart with “My Universe” at 16th, “Butter” at 26th, “Dynamite” at 37th, and “Permission To Dance” at 74th.
“MAP OF THE SOUL : 7,” which is the group’s fourth full album released in February, 2020, ranked No. 166 on “Billboard 200” of the Billboard main album chart, and stayed on the chart for 93 consecutive weeks. This album also ranked No. 32 on “Top Album Sales” and No. 2 on the “World Album.”
