SEOUL, June 23 (Yonhap) -- K-pop boy group Stray Kids will kick off a new world tour, "RUN IT," in Seoul next month, its agency JYP Entertainment said Tuesday.
Stray Kids will launch the tour with five concerts at KSPO Dome in Seoul's Olympic Park on July 25, 26 and 29 and Aug. 1 and 2.
The group will then head to Tokyo National Stadium in August, followed by Nagoya and Osaka in September, Fukuoka in October, Hong Kong and Taipei in December, and Bangkok and Singapore in January and March next year, respectively. Additional tour stops will be announced later.
JYP said Stray Kids will become the first overseas male act to hold a solo concert at Tokyo National Stadium, one of Japan's premier concert venues.
The group is expected to attract about 370,000 fans through seven concerts in Japan alone.
Last year, Stray Kids successfully staged their largest-ever world tour, "dominATE," performing 56 shows across 35 locations worldwide.
The group will release its new mini album "THIS & THAT" on Aug. 7. Ahead of the album's release, they will unveil the track "RUN IT" in advance at 1 p.m. on June 24.
Stray Kids will meet global fans again on Sept. 11 (local time) when they appear at the Brazilian music festival "Rock in Rio" and at the newly launched music festival "STRAYCITY," in which the group plays a central role.
Earlier this month, the group also performed as a headliner at "The Governors Ball" music festival in New York. In front of 45,000 fans, the members delivered energetic performances of their hit songs, including "DOMINO," "Chk Chk Boom" and "CEREMONY."
