SEOUL, Aug. 18 (Yonhap) -- Choi Sang-yeop, vocalist of band LUCY, will get married this month.

 

Mystic Story, LUCY's agency, said Monday that Choi "is preparing for a new beginning with a precious person in August."

 

The agency said it understands that fans may be surprised by the sudden news and asked them to "watch over them with warm hearts."

 

The wedding will be held privately out of consideration for Choi's non-celebrity partner, with the agency asking for understanding that specific details cannot be disclosed.

 

Choi will continue his musical activities as a member of LUCY after marriage.

 

LUCY, a four-member band that debuted in 2020, has gained popularity with songs including "Flowering," "Jogging" and "She Smiles."

 

The band will hold an encore concert, "Island," at Korea University's Hwajeong Gymnasium in Seoul from Oct. 23-25.
