SEOUL, Oct. 2 (Yonhap) -- Galleria Department Store said Friday it will host an event for foreign tourists combining Korean cultural content with luxury shopping to coincide with China's National Day holiday.

Galleria is holding a global promotion titled "Luxury Hall in Seoul" at its luxury goods store in Seoul through Oct. 7.

The event, the second of its kind this year following one held in April, will feature a variety of content, including K-fashion, traditional culture, perfumes and beauty products.

MU:DS, the official merchandise store of the National Museum of Korea, will hold its first offline pop-up event for its "National Seal Keycap Keyring Set" and unveil new products, including a Golden Silla keycap and a Jimmyeosu keycap keyring.

Pop-ups featuring domestic designer brands, niche perfumes and traditional craft brands will also be held.

At its Gourmet 494 food hall, Galleria will introduce traditional Korean foods such as rice cakes and gomtang, a beef soup, while Vino 494 will offer a 10 percent discount on selected traditional Korean alcoholic beverages.

New foreign customers signing up for its global membership program will receive a 5 percent discount coupon, while customers spending at least 500,000 won during the event will receive gift certificates worth 7 percent of their purchase amount.

Discounts for customers paying with Alipay+ and personalized shopping services for foreign VIP customers will also be available.
