SEOUL, Aug. 10 (Yonhap) -- Musinsa Beauty said Monday it is holding "Muviewfair," its largest beauty event of the year, both online and offline through Aug. 24, offering discounts of up to 80 percent.

 

A total of 660 brands are taking part in the event, with 14,545 products being offered at discounts of up to 80 percent.

 

On the first day of the event, customers will receive a 30 percent discount coupon that can be used in combination with other discounts, as well as a 10 percent shopping cart coupon.

 

During the event, a "Brand Relay Special Deal" will offer popular products from 15 brands, including MAC, NARS, Biotherm, AESTURA, Banila Co, Dr.G, beplain, Torriden and Cellex, at special discounted prices.

 

Random boxes containing genuine products worth up to 690,000 won will be offered at noon on Aug. 10, 14 and 20. The event will also feature a "100-won deal" for customers making their first beauty purchase.

 

Limited-edition products created through collaborations between fashion and beauty brands will also be introduced. Five collaborative products will be launched by brands including Oddtype and Hug Your Skin, FEEV and Have A Whale, Javin de Seoul and Gihue, rom&nd and LORA LORA, and Barryway and FIND KAPOOR.

 

A special "Rising Beauty" showcase will feature representative products from 20 emerging beauty brands selected for their distinctive product competitiveness.

 

From Aug. 21-23, Musinsa Beauty will hold an offline event, "Muviewfair in Seongsu," in Seongsu-dong, eastern Seoul.

 

Super early-bird tickets for "Muviewfair in Seongsu," which went on sale July 31, sold out in 48 seconds, setting a record as the fastest sellout in the event's history. Early-bird and general admission tickets also sold out within about a minute of going on sale.

 

"From unprecedented discounts to fashion-beauty collaboration products and rising brands, we have prepared differentiated content unique to Musinsa Beauty," a Musinsa Beauty official said. "It will be an event where visitors can experience firsthand the 'next beauty' proposed by Musinsa."
