SEOUL, August 24 (Yonhap) -- The South Korean legal drama "Extraordinary Attorney Woo" has topped Netflix's latest weekly viewership chart of non-English TV shows for the four consecutive weeks.

The TV series marked 77.4 million hours of viewing for the third week of August, Aug. 15-21, to top Netflix's official top 10 list for non-English TV programs available on the service, according to the company on Wednesday.

The drama won with an overwhelming difference with the second place: Mexican crime series “High Heat” (27.68 million hours)

This is the sixth time “Attorney Woo” topped the viewership chart.

“Attorney Woo,” which was first aired on June 29, did not make the top 10 on the week of its release, but it debuted at No.1 on the second week of July (July 4-10), and kept its place on the third week of July (July 11-17).

While it demoted to second on the fourth week (July 18-24) after Spanish drama “Alba,” it reclaimed its place on the fifth week (July 25- 31) and remained on the top for 4 weeks until the first, second and third week of Aug.

The TV series is replacing its own records as its weekly viewing time increases.

It recorded 23.95 million hours in the second week of July, 45.58 million hours in the third week, 55.07 million hours in the fourth week, 65.63 million hours in the fifth week, 67.01 hours in the first week of Aug., 69.36 million hours in the second week of Aug., and 77.4 million hours in the third week of Aug.

"Attorney Woo" revolved around a lawyer named Woo Young-woo (Park Eun-bin), who is brilliant and smart with an outstanding memory but lacks social skills and empathy due to being on the autism spectrum. Each episode brought profound emotion and ended on Aug. 18.

Korean fantasy romance "Alchemy of Souls" and Netflix series “A Model Family,” starring Jung Woo, also made the Top 10 list for the third week of Aug.
