SEOUL January 9 (Yonhap) -- South Korean actor Lee Jae-wook, made a long lasting impression to its viewers throughout the drama series, “Alchemy of souls” showcasing friendly puppy like persona to very cold and callous characteristics fighting off the enemy.
Lee Jae-wook acted out the protagonist Jang Uk, who is a son born in a wealthy family, however he does his best to fit the destiny he is born to. Especially when he protects his friends and those around him even though he jokes around with them and makes fun of them.
Actor Lee Jae-wook who participated in the interview conducted at a café in Gangnam on January 5 showcased very focused and motivated while answering to the question regarding the production and very bright and jolly when he was engaged in daily conversation with other people or when he was answering questions regarding the overall scene of the production site.
When asked about his character Jang Uk, Lee Jae-wook addressed, “As of characteristics I think Jang Uk and I have similarities,” adding “I was not sure whether I felt it that way because I was acting out the character or not.”

Moreover, actor addressed, “actress Jung So-min is known to have participated in various productions, therefore she was very professional, and participated in production with smile on her face despite of the situation, therefore that helped me a lot to plow through the hardships I faced throughout the production.”
Due to the switch in actress from season 1 to season 2 viewers who were rooting for Jung Uk and Mu-deok couple showcased criticism such as it seems like Jung Uk’s cheating on Mu-deok and more. Also, the mysterious history of Jin Bu-yeon throws viewers off from being tightly engaged with the series.
