SEOUL, May 29 (Yonhap) -- Paradise City said Friday it will host the "2026 Korea Tamiya Mini 4WD Festival with Paradise City" on June 6-7 at the hotel's Plaza Square.
During the event, official qualifying races for the Korea Tamiya Mini 4WD Cup will be held on a large-scale racing circuit installed at the venue.
Contestants selected through advance registration will compete in the races, while visitors will be able to enjoy the speed and technical excitement unique to miniature car racing.
Paradise City has hosted the Mini 4WD festival in collaboration with Korea Tamiya since 2021, marking the sixth edition this year.
A Tamiya pop-up store and Mini 4WD track experience zone will also be operated at the venue, allowing customers who purchase products to race their own miniature cars on the track.
Additional programs include a tournament for customers and a lap-time challenge event.
This year's festival will also feature a "Mini 4WD Elegance Contest," showcasing creatively customized miniature cars. Outstanding participants will receive the newly established "Paradise City Award" along with a Paradise City cake.
"A Tamiya Mini 4WD festival has become a wholesome leisure activity that the whole family can enjoy together and has received enthusiastic responses from visitors every year," a Paradise City official said. "We hope to offer guests the thrilling excitement of motorsports and unforgettable memories."
