SEOUL, July 1 (Yonhap) -- K-pop supergroup BTS will release its first-ever live album, titled “Permission to Dance on Stage-Live,” on July 18, its agency BigHit Music announced Tuesday.
The album captures the vibrant energy of BTS’s global tour “BTS Permission to Dance on Stage,” which took place from 2021 to 2022. It features 22 live tracks from the performances, including fan favorites such as “ON,” “Fire,” “Dope,” and “IDOL.”
“We hope this album serves as a way to relive the memories of the ‘BTS Permission to Dance on Stage’ concerts,” BigHit Music said in a statement. “May every moment shared with BTS continue to shine in the hearts of fans.”
The “BTS Permission to Dance on Stage” tour spanned 12 shows across three cities—Seoul, Los Angeles, and Las Vegas. Through in-person concerts, online livestreams, and live viewings, BTS connected with approximately 4 million fans, collectively known as ARMY.
The tour also marked a historic milestone as BTS became the first Korean act to perform at both SoFi Stadium in Los Angeles and Allegiant Stadium in Las Vegas.
