SEOUL, Apr. 25 (Yonhap) – S. Korean trot singer Song Ga-in will hold a free online concert on Naver NOW to mark Parents’ Day on May 8.

The agency PocketDol Studio explained on Apr. 25, “Although we were offered diverse dinner shows and concerts, we politely declined them and decided to hold a free concert for the fans.”

Song said, “I thought it would be nice to see everyone enjoying my concert with their phones or computers, and the elderly being comforted with my songs,” adding, “I hope everyone has fun while being set free from COVID-19 for a while.”

The singer dropped her third full album "THE SONG OF LOVE” on Apr. 21. It is a traditional trot album that contains her love for fans under the concept of missing a lover.

Starting in Seoul next month, Song will hold a nationwide tour concert.
