SEOUL, Mar. 10 (Yonhap) -- Munhwa Broadcasting Corporation will showcase its brand-new daily drama series “The Fate of the Sky” (literal title) next month.
The upcoming series will follow the story of a daughter who comes to live a completely different life due to her father’s endless greed. She then tries to exact her revenge against her father, who became her bitter enemy but turns out to realize his fatherly love.
Veteran actor Kim Yoo-seok will play Kang Chi-hwan, who believes money and power override everything, even the law, while actress Jeon Hye-yeon is slated to play Lee Hae-in, a daughter abandoned by her father.
The series will portray the daughter, Lee Hae-in, who becomes completely destroyed by an unexpected accident while living happily with her benevolent and devoted foster parents. The love square surrounding Lee will also be unraveled.
Actor Seo Han-gyeol will play Ha Jin-woo, a free-spirited and ambitious young man who misses Lee Hae-in that disappeared as a child. Meanwhile, the series sees Jung Woo-yeon as Kang Se-na, who has feelings for Ha Jin-woo, and Jin Ju-hyung will play Moon Do-hyun who has a crush on Kang Se-na.
