SEOUL October 11 (Yonhap) -- Busan will be illuminated in purple in order celebrate K-pop superstar BTS’ concert in Busan in hope to host 2030 Busan World Expo on October 15.
Starting with Gwangan Bridge, Busan Tower, and numerous landmarks will be lumiinated with purple lights with neon signs addressing “Borahae Busan” until October 17, addressed Busan City government on October 11.
“Borahae,” which means “I Purple You” is used by superstar BTS and their fans in substitution of the phrase I love you.
“Borahae” withholds a meaning of long lasting trust and love for one another, just like how the rainbow which consists of 7 different colors end in purple.
On the day of BTS’ concert, a drone show in hope to host World Expo in Busan in 2030 will be held at the Gwanganli beach, starting at 9 p.m.
