SEOUL, March 17 (Yonhap) -- Group Stray Kids’ new mini-album “ODDINARY” has exceeded 1.3 million pre-orders as of the morning of Wednesday, JYP Entertainment, its agency, said on Thursday.

Stray Kids became the first million-seller group in JYP with their second full-length album "NOEASY" last year.

Considering that the pre-orders recorded 930,000 copies on the day of release at the time, the agency explained that the rise is steep as pre-orders increased by more than 400,000 two days before the release in March. 18.

All Stray Kids’ members made an effort to improve the work by participating in the lyrics and composition of this album.

The album’s name “ODDINARY” is a combined word of “odd” and “ordinary.” The term holds the message that even ordinary people have all odd sides.

The album consists of a total of 7 songs including the title song “MANIAC,” “VENOM,” “Charmer,” and “FREEZE.”

The title song “MANIAC” will be released on March 18 at 1 p.m. It appears to be aimed at entering the U.S. Billboard chart, which is counted from Friday to next Thursday, at 0 o'clock in Eastern Time.
