SEOUL January 2 (Yonhap) -- Yang Hyun-suk has returned to his position as the executive producer of YG Entertainment with a new Girl group.

It has been over three years since he stepped down from his role as the executive producer due to accusations regarding his effort to cover up the drug related charges on iKON’s B.I and number of drug related accusations held against artists of YG Entertainment on June of 2019.

YG Entertainment reveled their latest girl group “BABYMONSTER” since they last introduced “BLACKPINK” seven years ago.

Through YG Entertainment’s official YouTube channel and blog, the company has revealed seven member girl group “BABYMONSTER” on January 1.

Within the introduction video, executive producer Yang Hyun-suk introduced the upcoming girl group “BABYMOSNTER” as the executive producer of YG Entertainment.

“Group has a DNA of YG Entertainment,” adding “I hope seven of the members will be able to surprise the world as they managed to surprise me throughout their monthly assessment,” addressed executive producer Yang Hyun-suk.

Yang Hyun-suk, was relieved of his charges regarding the accusation against him for trying to bury the case against one of his artist B.I from iKON, on December 22, however the prosecutor decided to appeal against all the judgment.

With the result of the court, Yang Hyun-suk returned as the executive producer of YG Entertainment and addressed that he will focus on finding new artists.

Despite of the reveal of the new girl group “BABYMONSTER,” YG Entertainment has not disclosed any of the details regarding the profile of seven members.

Starting with the introduction video reveled for “BABYMONSTER” members profile will be revealed accordingly through continuous promotion in near future.

“All of the members of ‘BABYMONSTER’ are talented artists who have been carefully selected and received four years of professional training, most of the members are teenagers,” addressed official of YG Entertainment.

Throughout the promotional video, BLACKPINK’s Lisa, Jennie, AKMU, WINNER and various artists has praised of “BABYMONSTER” members. Specially, Lisa stated “Harmony produced by seven of the members look very good” and helped out with their dance routine.
