SEOUL, Sept. 7 (Yonhap) -- Actress Baek Jin-hee, 36, will marry her partner, whom she met while studying English in Canada, next year, her agency said Monday.

 

 

Management AM9 said Baek will tie the knot on Jan. 23 next year.

 

Her future husband is an older office worker who lives in Canada.

 

The two met and began dating while Baek was studying English in Canada last year. After maintaining a long-distance relationship, they decided to marry.

 

Following the wedding, Baek will split her time between Seoul and Canada. She also plans to continue her activities, including acting and running her personal YouTube channel.

 

Baek made her acting debut in the 2008 film "People Looking for People" and rose to fame with the 2011 MBC sitcom "High Kick! The Revenge of the Short Legged."

 

She has since appeared in a range of dramas and films, including "Gold, Appear!" "Empress Ki," "Horror Stories 2," "My Daughter, Geum Sa-wol," "Let's Eat 3," "Missing Nine" and "Judge Lee Han-young."
