K-pop Rookie UNIS Returns with New Single 'CURIOUS'

SEOUL, August 6 (Yonhap) -- Rookie girl group UNIS is making a comeback with their first single "CURIOUS," released on the 6th. 

 

According to their agency, F&F Entertainment, the single album includes the title track "CURIOUS (You Don't Know)" as well as "Datin' Myself," showcasing the diverse colors of the eight members, and the upbeat and energetic "Poppin'."

 

F&F Entertainment stated, "Through 'CURIOUS,' UNIS delivers a message of self-worth and confidence in being a 'wannabe.' They will demonstrate bold confidence with a unique concept, transformed music, and visuals in this comeback."

 

The title track "You Don't Know" conveys a powerful message about discovering one's true self and breaking free to become a new person.

 

UNIS was formed through the SBS TV audition program "Universe Ticket," which aired from November last year to January this year. The multinational group consists of eight members: Jin Hyeon-ju, Nana, Jellydanka, Kotoko, Bang Yun-ha, Ellysia, Oh Yoon-ah, and Lim Seo-won.

 

They debuted in March this year with their first mini-album "WE UNIS."
