SEOUL, May 6 (Yonhap) -- SPC Samlip announced on the 6th that it launched pop-up store 'Cream Atelier' in Seongsu-dong, Seongdong-gu, in celebration of the 60th anniversary of its trademark cream bread.
Set to run through the 16th, Cream Atelier displays various event zones such as the 'History Zone,' where visitors can learn about the history of cream, the 'Recipe Zone,' where visitors can taste three different creams, and the 'Goods Zone,' where they can purchase commemorative items related to cream bread.
Visitors who select their favorite cream after tasting three different ones in the Recipe Zone will receive cream bread as a gift. The store will showcase various cream flavors, including Mara & Goso, Truffle Blue Cheese, Fried Rice & Green Tea, and Cherry Blossom & Peach, planned using artificial intelligence (AI).
Through visitor voting, Samlip plans to release cream bread containing the cream selected as the top choice next month.
The traditional cream bread is Samlip's bestseller and the first product in the domestic baking industry to introduce vinyl packaging technology since its launch in 1964. The cumulative sales of the product have reached 1.9 billion units to date.
