SEOUL, June 26 (Yonhap) -- Comedian Ahn Young-mi, 43, has given birth to her second son, her agency said Friday.

 

Media Lab Siso said Ahn delivered a healthy baby boy at a hospital in Seoul on Thursday.

 

"Both the mother and baby are in good health. Ahn Young-mi is recovering with the warm support and care of her husband and family," the agency said.

 

It added that Ahn plans to return to broadcasting after making a full recovery.

 

Ahn debuted in 2004 as part of the 19th class of comedians recruited by KBS. She first gained public attention through the "Go! Go! Into Art" segment on the comedy show "Gag Concert" and later rose to wider popularity through appearances on programs such as "SNL Korea" and "Radio Star."

 

She registered her marriage to her longtime partner in February 2020 after dating since 2015. The couple welcomed their first son in 2023.
