SEOUL, August 8 (Yonhap) -- S.Korean department store “The Hyundai Seoul,” located in Yeouido, Seoul, is opening a pop store for rookie girl group “NewJeans” from Aug. 11 to Aug. 31 to celebrate their debut, The Hyundai department store announced on Aug. 7.

NewJeans is the first idol group from ADOR, Hybe-affilated label, and they are attracting attention with the pre-order of more than 400 thousand albums.

NewJeans pop-up store will recreate NewJeans’s MV set and sell clothes and accessories.

The Hyundai Seoul is displaying Huindai IONIQ 6 until Aug. 20, while also opening various contents for MZ generation (birth from 1980~2000) such as “KAWAII Seoul 2022,” which displays works of pop art artists.

Official of The Hyundai department said, “We have been recording daily average visitors of 50 thousands with creative contents,” adding, “We hold unique events for MZ generations as they are 65% of the customers.”
